Daddy..!

We have never thanked you for all that you have done for us

You were always there by our side and stood like a truss

I remember, when I was a child I acted very greedy

No matter if it was a toy or a chocolate pie you always brought me, daddy

At times when mom said no for things I wanted to do and see

You stood by my side and said don’t worry my darling you’ve got me

And when I got good marks you never expressed your feelings aloud

But your silent admiration nods told me that you felt very proud

When we went for shopping and I was unable to find a good dress

You selected the best for me without creating any mess

When I sat drawing and got confused and fed up how to draw

You came there and corrected it like there never existed a flaw

With you every day is filled with happiness and every day is a fun day

Like you’ve always wished us, we are wishing you today, happy birthday

Happy Birthday Nanape

                                   This Poem is written by me, on my grandpa's 70th birthday!

Happy birthday nanape, its your birthday today

And now you have turned 70, they say

You look the same, since I was a child

And its like time never could affect your smile

I was a cry-baby, since I was a kid

No matter how much I troubled, you ignored it.

My brother has always been your favourite pal,

Though his brain is full of unscrewed valves.

My sister is your intelligent granddaughter,

And that is why she is dearer to you than others.

My mom is your reflection; she is your daughter,

She too has a temper like you grandfather.

My dad is calm and really vey smart,

And truly grandpa, he respects you a lot.

And finally we would like to say,

Have a rocking birthday grandpa today.

Friends forever

Wake up in the morning, get ready for school

My bus is waiting out, and it’s not cool

My mumma is yelling, and my dad is worried

And now I am out of class, though I hurried

My friend tells me that, I missed an important class

But when the result comes, I always surpass

Its lunch time, we look at the food

And exchange our tiffins, according to the mood

Its chemistry period, and reactions are been taught

But the patience to listen, we friends aught

The school is over and its time to go home

But we stay back and together we roam

We are now screaming and yelling at each other

But, no matter what we do, we are friends forever

Today is your birthday and I am glad to say,

God showered his talent on this day.

The artistic nature, the creativity you show,

Is a rare combination in the world, you know.

It feels so great for me to say,

He made my dad for me today.

You’ve always been a helping hand,

And vanished my problems like a magic wand.

You work so hard all day long,

Which makes me wanna sing this song.
